NaWMA (Not a White Male Artist) is a feminist conceptual artist with something to say.

Appropriating everything from art and philosophy to print media and pop culture, she uses bold colours and rich textures to activate paint, mixed-media and text.

NaWMA’s sharp perspective targets a range of systematic injustices from the restriction of reproductive freedom and the spread of misinformation, to the rise of authoritarianism and the new economic order that is surveillance capitalism.

Often referred to as “the Banksy of feminist art” by her peers, she chooses to keep her identity private.

NaWMA lives and works in Miami and Toronto. Her work can be found in private collections throughout the world.
